BAREBORN is free to play. By using the site, the launcher or a server listed here, you agree to the following.

Your account

Your account is your Steam account, and you answer for what is done with it. One person, one account.

Fair play

Cheating, exploiting, dodging a ban or attacking servers or players ends your access. Bans apply on every server listed here. Rules

The game

Do not sell copies of the game or charge for access to it. If you pass a copy on, keep the third-party notices that come with it. Licences

Purchases

Playing is free. You can also buy Embers, the game's currency, and spend them in the store on privileges, BAREBORN+, a queue skip, the battle pass, resource packs, server cases, and weapons, armour and explosives for modded servers. By paying for a purchase, you agree to these terms. Store

What you buy. Embers and what they buy: extra features in the game for a set time, or items in the game. All of it is digital and has no cash value. Embers are not money: they cannot be cashed out except as a refund below, moved to another account, or sold or traded for real money.
Prices. Embers are sold for rubles: 1 ₽ buys 1 Ember, and a larger top-up adds free bonus Embers, as the store shows. Everything else is priced in Embers, shown before you buy.
Payment. Embers are paid for by bank card, SBP, T-Pay or SberPay through T-Bank. We never see your card details. The receipt for each top-up is sent to the e-mail on your account.
Delivery. Embers reach your account as soon as the payment goes through. A privilege, BAREBORN+, a queue skip or the battle pass starts when you buy it with Embers. Items and cases are handed over in game on the server you chose, the next time you are on it. On a modded server, weapons, armour and explosives go on sale and are handed over only once their wipe block has passed since the server's last map wipe; the store shows each item's block.
Creator codes. A creator code entered at a top-up gives part of the payment to that creator. You pay the same and get the same Embers.
Battle pass. Lasts one season. Its rewards, resources, server cases and Embers, are handed over in game as you reach them; Embers from it count as free.
Cases. The chance of every item is shown before you buy, and every opening is logged.
Wipes. Embers, privileges, BAREBORN+, a queue skip and the battle pass keep through a wipe. Items you received stay in the world until the server's next wipe, like anything else you own in the game.
Bans. A purchase never lifts a ban. If you are banned for breaking the rules, what you bought is not refunded.
Under 18. Buy only with a parent's or guardian's permission.

Refunds

You get your money back for:

Embers that never arrived. If you paid but the Embers did not reach your account, the money is returned in full.
Charged in error. A payment taken twice or for the wrong amount is returned in full.
Unspent Embers. Embers you bought and have not spent are returned in rubles at the price you paid. The bonus Embers of a larger top-up are free, like Embers you get as a gift or a reward: free Embers are not returned, and a refund of a top-up also takes back what is left of its bonus. Bought Embers are always spent before free ones.

If you spent Embers but did not get what you bought, the Embers are returned. Once you have what you bought with Embers, it is not returned for Embers or money: privileges, BAREBORN+, a queue skip and the battle pass from the moment they start, items and cases once they are handed over in game.

To ask for a refund, write to us with your Steam ID and the date and amount of the payment: Discord or support@playbareborn.com. The money goes back the way you paid, within 10 days of your request; your bank may take a few more days to show it.

Please write to us before disputing a payment with your bank: it is quicker.

Changes

These terms may change as the game grows. This page is always the current version. A purchase follows the version that was in force on the day you paid.
